Camel trekking is the most traditional way to experience the Sahara Desert. For centuries, camels have been the ships of the desert, carrying traders and nomads across the vast sands. Today, a camel trek at sunrise or sunset is one of the most iconic and memorable experiences you can have in Morocco. Our camel treks take you across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to panoramic viewpoints and desert camps.

Our camel treks are led by experienced camel guides who know the desert intimately. Treks range from one hour to overnight journeys. The most popular options are the sunset trek to a desert camp and the sunrise trek to watch the desert awaken.

What to Wear

Wear long pants to prevent chafing, closed-toe shoes, and bring a scarf to protect against sun and sand. Cameras are a must!
