Our Story
Roadless Morocco is a brand of Nomalor Travel, a Moroccan travel company. Every tour, guide, vehicle and booking on this website is operated by Nomalor Travel, so you deal with the same local team from your first message to your last day in the desert.
Roadless Morocco started in 2025 as the off-road brand of Nomalor Travel. Our guides grew up in Merzouga and the villages around it, such as Takojt and Aftis, and most of them have been guiding in the desert for 8 to 10 years.
In 2025 we took around 1,200 guests out on our 30 tours, from a one-hour ride in the dunes to a 14-day crossing of Morocco. Twenty guides and drivers work with us in the high season.
Our Mission
We want guests to see the desert the way we know it: the dunes, but also the families who live around them, the oases and the old trade routes. We keep groups small and routes safe so there is time to stop, talk and look.

Twenty guides and drivers work with us in the high season. Said, from Merzouga, has guided for 8 years and loves the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Rachid, from Aftis, also has 8 years of experience in the dunes. Addi, from Takojt, has guided for 10 years and prefers the rocky desert around the dune field. All three speak English, Spanish and French, and Addi also speaks German and Italian.
