Every ride, step by step
Every ride starts with a briefing and a practice loop on flat sand. Guides set the pace for the slowest rider, check helmets and harnesses, and change or cancel a route when wind, heat or sand conditions make it unsafe.

Briefing
Your guide explains the controls, the route and the hand signals used in the dunes.

Gear
Every rider gets a helmet, goggles and a scarf against the sand.

Practice
You practise on flat sand until you feel comfortable, before the first dune.

Guided ride
One guide leads at most five riders and sets the pace for the slowest rider in the group.

Weather check
If wind, sand or heat makes a ride unsafe, we move it to another time or cancel it with a full refund.
The vehicles
Quads and buggies are Can-Am 1000 models, and 4x4 tours use Toyota Prado vehicles driven by our guides. Every vehicle is serviced every two weeks and checked before each tour.
Heat and weather
In the hottest months we ride early in the morning or late in the evening. If wind or sand makes a ride unsafe, we change the time or cancel it with a full refund.
Fully insured
Roadless Morocco is fully insured, with liability insurance on every tour. We still recommend personal travel insurance that covers adventure activities.
Emergency Protocols
Every guide is trained in first aid and carries a phone. If someone is hurt, the guide gives first aid and we arrange transport to the nearest clinic or hospital.
