One trip, the whole country
Our grand expeditions are for travellers who want to see Morocco end to end, mostly away from the main roads. In six to fourteen days you cross the Rif, the Middle and High Atlas, the Sahara and, on some routes, the Atlantic coast. You travel in a private 4x4 with the same driver-guide all the way, and you choose how much time to spend on quads, buggies or on foot.

How the days are paced
Driving days are kept to around five or six hours, with stops for food, photos and short walks. Every few days there is a slower day: a morning in a medina, an afternoon on a quad in Erg Chebbi, or a hike in a gorge. Nights alternate between family-run riads, kasbah hotels and desert camps.
Planning a long route
Spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to November) give the best balance between mountain and desert weather. In winter the Atlas can be snowy, which is beautiful but needs flexible days.
